You think in actions.
The Zen thinks in buttons.

Zen Studio asks you to bind R3, LB and L2.

Your key C
How it works

Four steps, about a minute

The order matters.

STEP 1

Pick your game

Choose the game and the controller layout you actually use in game. Change the layout in game and the buttons move, so this has to match.

STEP 2

Set your keys

Normal PC binds are filled in already. Change any you like and the keyboard above updates as you go.

STEP 3

Tune your aim

Hip and ADS sensitivity are set separately. Most players run ADS lower. Every setting is explained further down.

STEP 4

Import to your Zen

In Zen Studio open Mouse & Keyboard Settings, then Import, pick the file, Finalize, Save to Device.

What each setting does

Plain explanations.

Hip-fire sensitivity

How fast your aim moves when you are not aiming down sights. Higher turns faster. If you overshoot targets constantly, bring it down.

ADS sensitivity

How fast your aim moves while scoped. Kept separate on purpose, because most players run ADS well below hip so long shots are steadier.

Y/X ratio

Vertical speed compared to horizontal. 1.00 means they match. Above 1 makes looking up and down quicker, which helps pull down recoil.

Invert Y-axis

Flips up and down. Off for most people. On if pushing forward should look down, the way flight sims work.

Boost

Extra acceleration when you move the mouse quickly, so flicks travel further than slow tracking. Capped at 2.55, which is a limit of the file format itself, not a choice we made.

Smoothness

Averages your mouse input to iron out jitter. It also adds a delay between your hand and the screen, so most players keep it at 0.

Deadzone X and Y

How far the stick has to move before the game reacts. Raise it if your aim drifts on its own, lower it for a faster response off centre.

Analog stickize

How far the virtual stick gets pushed for a given mouse movement. Around 110 to 120 suits most setups.

Deadzone shape

How mouse movement is translated into stick movement. Set for you per game, because CoD uses its own shape and picking a CoD layout applies it.

Not yet verified

An orange banner means we mapped that game from knowledge rather than a confirmed check. It will work, but tell us in Discord if a bind is off and we fix it for everyone.

Shared buttons

Some games put two things on one button, like reload on tap and use on hold. One key does both. We flag these rather than quietly dropping one.

Actions we cannot map

A few actions are two buttons pressed together, like Apex's Ultimate. There is no single output for that, so it cannot take a key. Press it on the controller side.
